Raw material

Palm product purchased as a raw material: palm products that are directly acquired and used by your business in your manufacturing sites.
This is specifically:
· palm oil;
· palm kernel oil;
· palm kernel expeller; and,
· other palm-based derivatives and formulations.

Part of an ingredient

Palm product purchased within an ingredient: palm products that are embedded in acquired materials where a third party has incorporated the raw palm product into a new product.
For example:
·       Blended cooking oil
·       Margarine
·       Bread
