Once your file is ready, the upload flow has four steps: Upload data → Column mapping → Review data → Confirm data.
Head to Add Product Data on the platform. A progress indicator across the top shows the four steps.
Step 1: Upload your file
Drag in or select your file (`.xlsx` or `.csv`, up to 1,000 products). This screen also explains the Digital Twin vs Industry Average distinction and lets you download the template if you haven't already. If you have uploaded before, you will see a summary of your previous runs here.
Step 2: Map your columns
Mondra automatically matches your spreadsheet columns to its required fields wherever the names line up. For anything it can't match automatically, you will get a dropdown to map the column yourself. A sample of your data is shown so you can confirm each mapping looks right before continuing. The required fields Mondra needs to see mapped are Product Name, SKU ID, Supplier Name, Net Weight and Is Brand Owner.
Step 3: Review your data
Mondra checks every row and sorts the results into three groups, shown with a summary banner at the top (total products, errors, warnings, and rows ready to go):
- Errors - problems that must be fixed before you can submit (e.g. a missing mandatory field, or a duplicate SKU combination).
- Warnings - things worth a second look but which won't block you (e.g. a product with no ingredient list that will fall back to Industry Average, or an unusually high net weight).
- Ready - rows that passed cleanly.
Each row is also flagged as
Digital Twin or
Industry Average, so you can see at a glance which products will get the more accurate treatment. For the full list of what triggers each error and warning, see the validation reference in
Preparing your product data.
There is no inline editing. If you need to fix something, you correct it in your source spreadsheet and re-upload - this keeps your own file as the single source of truth. To make that easy, you can download a file of just the error and warning rows, with an added column explaining exactly what is wrong with each one. (You can also download all products if you prefer.)
Fix the flagged rows in your spreadsheet, save, and upload again. Repeat until you are happy.
Step 4: Confirm and submit
The final screen summarises what you are about to submit - the total number of products, how many will be modelled as Digital Twins vs Industry Average, and how many (if any) are being excluded. When you are ready, select Stage & Run Calculation to submit. You will receive an email confirming your upload has been received.
